We're excited to announce a series of bug fixes and improvements to TELUS Crop Management. These updates are designed to enhance your user experience, streamline your workflow, and provide more accurate and accessible information for your farming operations.
📢 List of enhancements
Work Plan Auto-Numbering (Both in web and mobile)
Jobs created within work plans now automatically have a pre populated sequential job number which removes the need for the user to name the job. Job name becomes an optional job name visible on the left hand plan column. Jobs now have the ability to be reordered within a work plan and the drag indicator icon next to the job number is where this can be done.
Grass Structure Improvements
Improved grass structure functionality, allowing users to crop fields with Grass Land use and specify grass type and varieties for ‘grass fodder’ as well as ‘grass seed’ crops.
User defined grass seed products can now be linked to the grass types similar to production crops.
Organic Manure Application Types (Both in web and mobile)
Added three new Organic Manure application options in the time and observations tab for enhanced Nutrient Management calculations. Users can now record the Application Method, Incorporation Method and Incorporation Delay for a manure application. This information will be utilised in the NMP module.
Cropping Planner UI Enhancement
Improved icon alignment in the Cropping Planner interface for better user experience and accessibility. Summaries draw button has been moved so it does not cover a cropping record selector.
Implemented ability to export cropping structure via email to agronomist to keep them updated with cropping changes via the cropping planner window.
🥳 Our Newly Branded Mobile App Is Now Available!
We’re excited to announce that our newly branded TELUS Crop Management mobile app is now available to download on both iOS and Android! 🎉
The app works exactly the same as before - no features or functionality have changed. This update is purely a visual refresh to reflect our new branding.
What’s happening to the old app?
Our previous app will continue to work for now, but it will no longer receive updates. We recommend switching to the new app to ensure you’re using the most up-to-date and supported version. The old app will be discontinued soon.
