The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you log in to TELUS Crop Management. It gives you an at-a-glance view of your farm — your cropping breakdown, upcoming and active jobs, and the week's weather forecast — all in one place.
Cropping Summary
The Cropping Summary widget shows a visual breakdown of your cropped area for the current season. It displays your crops as a two-ring chart: the outer ring shows your crop types, and the inner ring shows the varieties within each crop type — so you can quickly see how your land is being used.
Crop types are shown as segments of the outer ring, each representing a percentage of your total cropped area.
Varieties are shown within each crop type segment on the inner ring, giving you a more detailed breakdown.
Total cropped area is displayed in hectares, to two decimal places.
If you haven't set up any fields yet, the widget will prompt you to add your fields to get started.
Filtering by business (advanced users)
If your account includes multiple businesses, you can use the business selector at the top of the widget to filter the cropping summary for a specific business.
Job List
The Job List widget shows your most recent jobs and plans, organised by status. It's a quick way to see what needs attention without leaving the dashboard.
Jobs are grouped into four tabs:
Tab | What it shows |
Drafts | Jobs that have been created but not yet issued |
Not Started | Jobs that have been issued and are ready to begin |
In Progress | Jobs that are currently underway |
Done | Jobs that have been completed |
Each tab shows up to 5 entries, with the most recent first. Select View all to go to the full Jobs list.
If a job is linked to a recommendation, it will be marked with an R badge. If your account includes Plans, your plans will also appear here alongside your standalone jobs.
Weekly Outlook
The Weekly Outlook widget shows a 7-day weather forecast for your farm, based on your business's registered postcode.
Each day in the forecast shows:
A weather icon and description
Maximum and minimum temperature (°C)
Chance of rain (%)
Select any day to see an hourly breakdown for that day.
No forecast showing?
If the Weekly Outlook shows an error or no forecast, check that your business has a postcode saved in your account settings. The forecast is linked to your business's postcode — if no postcode is saved, no forecast can be shown.
Filtering by business (advanced users)
If your account includes multiple businesses, you can use the business selector in the Weekly Outlook section to choose which business's location the forecast is based on. This selector stays in sync with the one in the Cropping Summary widget — changing one will automatically update the other.
Tips
The Dashboard is your starting point every time you log in.
The business selector in the Cropping Summary and the Weekly Outlook are linked — selecting a business in one will automatically update the other.
To see all your jobs, select View all in the Job List widget or navigate to the Jobs module from the sidebar.
