About the App
The TELUS Crop Management app is a companion to the TELUS Crop Management website. It allows you to view the jobs that have been assigned to you and record what was done in the field from your phone or tablet.
The app is designed to be used while you are outdoors. You do not need to be at a desk or connected to the internet to record your work.
What You Can Do with the App
View jobs that have been assigned to you
See the products, fields, and instructions for each job
Record field observations such as weather, soil conditions, and growth stage
Create and view field inspections, including photos, directly from the app. Inspections work offline too and sync automatically once you're back online (available if your account has this feature enabled — see Field Inspections in the Mobile App for full steps)
Log the actual area treated and the time the work was carried out
Record actual product quantities used
Mark jobs as complete
Look up registered pesticide product details any time using Label Check, handy for a quick check while you're out in the field (needs an internet connection to load; see Introducing Label Check for full details)
Send and receive changes to and from the TELUS Crop Management website
What You Cannot Do with the App
The app is for recording work and looking up product information. Setup tasks such as creating jobs, adding fields, businesses, or products are managed through the TELUS Crop Management website and cannot be done in the app. Printing, including printing from Label Check, is also not available in the app; print from the website instead.
Getting Around the App
At the bottom of your screen you'll always see:
Button | What it does |
Your current section | Shows the part of the app you're currently in. For most users this starts as Jobs. As you move around, for example if you open Settings, your Profile, or Label Check from the Menu, this button updates to show where you are. |
Sync | Shows the status of any work you have that is waiting to be sent to the TELUS Crop Management website |
Menu | Opens more options, including Label Check, Settings, your Profile, and Sign Out |
You can tap any of these at any time to switch between sections.
If you're an agronomist working across multiple customer accounts, the Menu also includes an account selector so you can see which customer account you're currently working in. Where an account has more than one business set up, you'll also be able to choose which business to view.
Settings
From the Menu, tap Settings to:
Change the app's appearance (Light, Dark, or System default)
Filter your jobs list to show only jobs for a specific operator
