TELUS Farm Management to TELUS Crop Management Export Checklist

Written by Cheryl Evans

Welcome to TELUS Crop Management. This guide provides the necessary steps to prepare and complete your data export from TELUS Farm Management to your new software.

📢 Important: Once a farm site has been migrated, that site in TELUS Farm Management becomes read-only. This migration transfer cannot be re-run, so please ensure all activities, records, and data in TELUS Farm Management are completely updated and finalised before starting.

What to Expect During Migration

  • Site-by-Site Migration: Data is transferred on a site-by-site basis. You do not need to move everything at once, you can migrate one farm site now and migrate additional sites later as needed.

  • Up to 10 Years of Data: You can select up to 10 years (10 seasons) of historical data to bring across to your new account.

  • Agronomist Plans Post-Migration: Published plans created by your agronomist after migration will continue to flow directly into TELUS Crop Management.

1. Review Included Data

Review our Migrating Data from TELUS Farm Management to TELUS Crop Management: What’s Included and Excluded Data article to confirm which historical records, soil samples, and job data will and will not transfer during migration.

The Farm Site being migrated must have a region assigned.

• Go to Site Settings and verify a region is set prior to migration.

3. Confirm Site Selection

Ensure that the site you are importing is correct and not duplicated between you and your agronomists' TELUS Farm Management account.

4. Check Working Areas

Ensure that you have reviewed your cropping records within TELUS Farm Management and have correct working/cropped areas allocated both fields and crops prior to migration. (Select your Site -> Fields Tab).

5. Migrate Sites One at a Time

Prepare to migrate your farm sites individually, as migration occurs on a site-by-site basis.
