When migrating to TELUS Crop Management from Gatekeeper, not all data, settings, and configurations are carried over to the new system. This article defines the scope of the migration so you know exactly what information is included and what is excluded.
What Gets Exported?
When you complete the migration, the following data will be transferred:
Business Structure: Grower, Holding, Farm, Field and Cropping details for the last 5 years (or up to 10 years upon request).
Soil Sampling: Any soil sampling inspections recorded in Gatekeeper Desktop during the selected period.
Operation & Job Records (Optional):
Completed jobs for the selected period.
Products used within those jobs (product matching occurs automatically during import).
Important Migration Factor to Keep in Mind
Historical Data Volume: We support migrating up to 10 years of data, but please consider if you genuinely need that much history in your new system. Larger datasets naturally bring more complexity into the migration. Importing only active or recent data will help keep your new account clean, streamlined, and easy to navigate.
