The first time that you use TELUS Crop Management you will need to enter a few basic details to create your business.
Step 1: Confirm your business location
Use the drop-down to select the country your business operates in — currently Ireland or the United Kingdom. This sets regional details for your business, including which product and input lists are shown to you later on.
❗Country selection currently can't be changed later through TELUS Crop Management once you've set it during setup, so make sure you select the correct one before continuing.
Step 2: Choose how you'd like to create your business
Select from the drop-down how you'd like to get started. Depending on your situation, you can:
Manually enter your business details – build your business from scratch within TELUS Crop Management.
Import your own data from Gatekeeper Desktop – bring your existing records across yourself.
Import your own data from TELUS Farm Management – bring your existing records across yourself.
Ask your agronomist to migrate your data for you – if your agronomist manages your records in Gatekeeper Desktop or TELUS Farm Management, you can request that they complete the migration on your behalf.
Recommendation: If you think you might want to migrate existing records from Gatekeeper Desktop or TELUS Farm Management later, it's best to choose one of the import options now rather than manually entering your details, a manually created business generally won't link up automatically with a later import.

Step 3: Tell us about your business
Enter the following details to finish setting up:
Trading Name
CPH (holding) number (Herd number if you're in Ireland)
Region – if your business is in the United Kingdom, select the region your business resides in
Your current season is entered automatically as your Starting Season. You can work across seasons at any time once you're up and running.
When you're happy with your details, click Done to finish setup.
You can edit your Trading Name, CPH/Herd number, and Region at any time from the Setup > Businesses section of TELUS Crop Management.
