The first time that you use TELUS Crop Management you will need to enter a few basic details to create your business.
To start the setup process firstly confirm your business location using the drop down box to select the country that your business operates in. This will set regional details including product lists. IMPORTANT: Your country can’t be changed once you start setting up your business.
There are three ways to start a business in TELUS Crop Management: by entering business details; by importing from your own Gatekeeper desktop; or by requesting migration from your agronomist. Select how you would like to create your business from the drop down box.
IMPORTANT: Please be aware of the following if you are an existing gatekeeper desktop user: Manually created businesses cannot be updated at a later date from Gatekeeper desktop. Only proceed with this method to create a business if you are sure you do not want to migrate information from an existing Gatekeeper desktop.
To finish getting setup - tell us about your business. Enter your Trading Name, CPH (holding) number (Herd number for Ireland). For the United Kingdom you will need to enter the Region your business resides in. The current season will be entered automatically as the Starting Season. You can move between seasons before starting data entry.
Information can be edited within the ‘Setup’ section of your TELUS Crop Management at any time once you’ve got started. When you are happy to proceed to finalise the setup click Done.
